I caught my first King Salmon!!!
Caught my first King Salmon today! And I still can’t believe it. The feeling was so surreal. The biggest fish I’ve ever caught were 10 inch trout and to jump straight into 20lb salmons was crazy!!! I thought my arm was going to rip off my shoulder. I never thought a fight was going to be that hard with a fish. The big fish is the first salmon I caught and the second is my friend Phillips fish.

Deception Pass
Went camping at Deception Pass up in Whidbey Island over the weekend. It was fun and relaxing weekend. Went fishing and caught a bunch of Dungeness and Rock Crab. I thought I had my first salmon but unfortunately it was a little fight and it got away. Oh well maybe next time. My son Jr caught a baby salmon but we had to let that go. If you ever want to camp in the Northwest, Deception Pass is a great place for camping. If you go out at night on the beaches and step on the wet sand along the shore, you’ll see the plankton light up and flash like small stars. I didn’t take many pictures since I was fishing most of the time and didn’t want saltwater corroding my camera. Well here are the rest of the photos….
